SPUR
SPUR is a Marblehead based nonprofit established to cultivate a Community of Doers through an array of multi-generational volunteer activities, youth enrichment programs and special drives in the communities of Lynn, Marblehead, Salem and Swampscott.
We strive to host a variety of offerings - understanding not all members of the community share the same interests when it comes to service. As such, our efforts take into consideration multiple ways to contribute - so that something speaks to everyone's heart. Our volunteer opportunities are appropriate for children as young as four, are only two hours or less and there is no ongoing commitment. Below are just a few of our current opportunities. Fairy Godmother Project Princess Boutique
GE Aviation 1000 Western Ave, Lynn, MA, United StatesSPUR is teaming up again with the Northshore Fairy Godmother Project, helping them collect donations of new and "gently worn" formal dresses and accessories. These donations are then given to high school students in Massachusetts in need of a dress for their prom. We are also looking for some volunteers to help during the day...
