The SPUR Community Roots garden was established in 2016 to grow fresh produce to benefit area food pantries and community programs.  The garden is a tangible way to connect with one another and bridge the gap for those who may have barriers accessing healthy food, free of toxins and grown with a whole lot of love. Habitat for Humanity North Shore welcomes volunteers at its ReStore in Peabody. The store is open to the public for sales from 9am to 4pm Wednesday through Saturday. The store is closed to the public on Tuesdays but is open for a staff and volunteer work day. Volunteers are needed Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30am until 4:30pm for three to six hour shifts.
