Volunteer Tutors Needed!

Are you interesting in working with refugee and immigrant youth? The New American Center in Lynn is currently recruiting volunteer tutors for our after school program! Tutors will work one-on-one or with small groups of students to complete daily homework assignments, practice literacy skills, and study for upcoming tests. There might also be time to play games and run science and art activities.

Program runs from 3:00-5:00, Monday-Thursday. We ask that volunteers be able to commit to at least one afternoon a week for a semester. Prior experience working with children or immigrants a plus, but not required.
