Hawthorne Hotel meal delivery program

An event every week that begins at 8:00 am on Wednesday, repeating until August 5, 2020
The Hawthorne Hotel will be delivering 50 meals to six of the Salem Public Schools to give out with the summer meals program. Volunteers are needed with vehicles large enough for 1-2 large coolers. Volunteers will drop the coolers off to the schools by 8:45 in time for the 9-11 distribution, volunteers will also be needed to bring the coolers back to the Hawthorne at 11am. It’s likely a two person job to lift the coolers and bring them to the school staff unless the volunteer has a cart or dolly, so pairs are encouraged to sign up.
