The House of the Seven Gables is currently seeking volunteers for a number of jobs. Volunteers receive free membership to the Gables, which includes free admission to the site and museum store discounts.

Concierge staff: assist primarily with greeting visitors and office-related projects.
Museum store: provide excellent customer service and greet and engage visitors in conversation for the purpose of sharing information about the museum, store merchandise, programs, and exhibits.
Garden guide: explain the garden, hand out garden literature, and answer questions.
Costume repair: sew/repair identified pieces of clothing necessary for our museum programming.
Grounds/landscape: Assist the maintenance and landscape team maintain the grounds.
