Historic Salem is looking for volunteer tour guides for its 39th annual Christmas in Salem Holiday House Tour. The tour will be headquartered at the House of the Seven Gables and will feature the Historic Derby Street Neighborhood, including several sites related to Nathaniel Hawthorne.
Tour guides will be stationed in a room of one of the houses featured on the tour, where they will share information about the architecture, history, and decorations of the house (this information will be provided to you). Guide shifts will be:
- Friday, November 30 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm;
- Saturday, December 1 from 10:30am to 1pm and from 1 to 4:30pm;
- Sunday, December 2 from 11:30am to 2pm and from 2 to 4:30pm.
All tour guides will receive one free ticket to attend the tour.
