SUMMARY:Howard and Charter Street Cemetery cleanups
DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends of the Downtown Salem Historic Cemeteries for cleanups of the Charter Street and Howard Street Cemeteries on Saturday\, June 1. \nJoin us at Charter Street Cemetery in the morning for a clean up and public outreach with information about current conservation efforts and distribution of flyers about the cemetery’s history.  At noon we will move to Howard Street and repeat the process there.  We will have water and lemonade for all our thirsty workers\, and will provide gloves and trash bags\, but you are welcome to bring your own. \nFor more information\, see the Facebook event page or contact info@salemcemeteries.org.
