SUMMARY:Swim & Fin Open Water Race Volunteer Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:The 14th annual Swim & Fin Race for Salem Sound\, open water races celebrating the clean water in Salem Sound and benefiting Salem Sound Coastwatch\, will take place Sunday\, August 11th at Forest River Park in Salem. \nIt takes a lot of people to make the Swim & Fin run smoothly. If you can volunteer some time\, we can use you! \nOn Sunday\, we need volunteers for set up\, registration\, helping with parking\, food\, raffles\, and awards\, assisting the timers and swim officials\, and anything else that pops up! We are in particular need of safety paddles out on the course. \nWe also need safety kayakers and paddlers on the course. This will require being out on the course for at least 2.5 hours.\nContact info@salemsound.org or 978-741-7900.
