SUMMARY:The Great Pumpkin Drop
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, November 4\, SalemRecycles\, Salem Alliance for the Environment\, and Black Earth Compost will team up to host The Great Pumpkin Drop\, a community composting event.  Pumpkins can be brought to Dead Horse Beach for composting from 12 to 3pm. \nVolunteers will be needed to: \n\ndirect the flow of traffic\nencourage participants to sign up for compost pick up\nhand out donuts and cider\npick up those donuts that morning from our “donut-donors” (HoneyDew\, Dunkin’ Donuts\, and Coffee Time).\n\nShifts are from 11:30am to 1:30pm and from 1:30 to 3:30pm\, but your help is needed even if you only have one hour. \nContact Shelley Alpern at salpern47@gmail.com or 617-970-8944.
