Tutors will work one-on-one or with small groups of students to complete daily homework assignments\, practice literacy skills\, and study for upcoming tests. There might also be time to play games and run science and art activities. \nProgram runs from 3:00-5:00\, Monday-Thursday. We ask that volunteers be able to commit to at least one afternoon a week for a semester. Adopt a Beach volunteers serve as beachkeepers\, helping to keep their adopted beach clean on a year-round basis. They prevent trash and litter from becoming marine debris\, which pollutes the water. \nBeachkeepers are also the eyes of the beach. They observe and report on conditions on their beach\, and they are trained to look for storm damage\, sources of contamination\, and invasive species. \nBecome a beachkeeper at your favorite beach on your own time schedule. DESCRIPTION:Join The Marblehead Conservancy and Salem Sound Coastwatch for the annual Earth/Arbor Day Celebration at the Lead Mills Conservation Area.  With the help of volunteers\, The Marblehead Conservancy started planting wildflowers in this area in 2015 and will continue until the field is a beautiful blanket of colors. \nTrash bags\, seedlings\, tools\, and water will be provided.
