Tutors will work one-on-one or with small groups of students to complete daily homework assignments\, practice literacy skills\, and study for upcoming tests. Adopt a Beach volunteers serve as beachkeepers\, helping to keep their adopted beach clean on a year-round basis. They prevent trash and litter from becoming marine debris\, which pollutes the water. \nBeachkeepers are also the eyes of the beach. Belle Isle Marsh is one among several final remnants of salt marsh throughout the Boston Basin. It is located within the Boston city limits and is therefore somewhat unusual.
