DESCRIPTION:The North Shore Moving Market (NSMM) is a free food\, free delivery service operating to assist low-income elderly\, handicapped\, and disadvantaged individuals and families. The NSMM delivers groceries monthly to nearly 200 households in local communities. The NSMM is also the only mobile market that includes pet food with regular delivery. \nWe all need to be fed. Here’s how you can feed and be fed! \nVolunteers are needed to help deliver groceries on Wednesday mornings from approximately 9am until noon. Come and learn the side roads of Salem\, see first hand how your volunteering helps\, and hear a heartfelt “God bless you.” All you need is a car and a warm heart! \nContact via web form.

DESCRIPTION:Are you interesting in working with refugee and immigrant youth? The New American Center in Lynn is currently recruiting volunteer tutors for our after school program! Tutors will work one-on-one or with small groups of students to complete daily homework assignments\, practice literacy skills\, and study for upcoming tests. There might also be time to play games and run science and art activities. \nProgram runs from 3:00-5:00\, Monday-Thursday. We ask that volunteers be able to commit to at least one afternoon a week for a semester. DESCRIPTION:The North Shore Moving Market (NSMM) is a free food\, free delivery service operating to assist low-income elderly\, handicapped\, and disadvantaged individuals and families. The NSMM delivers groceries monthly to nearly 200 households in local communities. The NSMM is also the only mobile market that includes pet food with regular delivery. \nWe all need to be fed. Here’s how you can feed and be fed! \nVolunteers are needed to help deliver groceries on Wednesday mornings from approximately 9am until noon. SUMMARY:Weed Watchers training
DESCRIPTION:Invasive aquatic plants can infest water bodies\, crowd out native plants\, block sunlight and make recreation almost impossible. The Weed Watchers program is a chance to get involved in restoration work on the Ipswich River and its tributaries.
