It will be a great opportunity to start or finish up your holiday shopping. (ISWM) for its 12th annual turkey drive.  Each year ISWM\, friends\, family\, and strangers organize a turkey drive to help provide Thanksgiving meals to families and veterans in need on the North Shore as well as provide fresh produce and boxes of food to local shelters. We provide everything families need to cook a thanksgiving meal with their families\, tin pan to the butter. We deliver these meals the Tuesday before Thanksgiving each year. Families are found from the school systems\, Veterans agencies\, family agencies and churches. \nVolunteers are needed for several shifts.  Volunteers must be able to drive\, lift at least 35lbs\, work under chaos\, and move fast and work in all weather conditions since we will be working in the garage and driveway. \nContact Melanie at 978-821-5656 or melanie@ISWMcharity.com.

DESCRIPTION:The November Salem Meet & Eat will be on Wednesday\, November 13 from 5:30 to 7pm. Setup begins at 4:45pm and cleanup should be finished by 7:15. Help is needed with: \n\nSetup: Help with setting tables\, arranging chairs\, etc.\nDishwashing: Dishwashers must be over 18\, wear non-skid\, closed-toed shoes\, and arrive 20 minutes early to learn how to use the dishwasher.\nServing: Filling water glasses\, bringing meals to the tables from the kitchen for those who need assistance\, and serving desserts. Gloves will be provided\, long hair must be restrained\, and comfortable\, non-slip shoes recommended. If you will be serving\, please arrive by 5:15 for brief instructions.\nRegistration table: We are asking all diners to sign in at the registration table. DESCRIPTION:The North Shore Moving Market (NSMM) is a free food\, free delivery service operating to assist low-income elderly\, handicapped\, and disadvantaged individuals and families. The NSMM delivers groceries monthly to nearly 200 households in local communities. The NSMM is also the only mobile market that includes pet food with regular delivery. \nWe all need to be fed. Here’s how you can feed and be fed! \nVolunteers are needed to help deliver groceries on Wednesday mornings from approximately 9am until noon.
