SUMMARY:Downtown Salem light re-wrapping
DESCRIPTION:You may have noticed the beautiful programmable colored lights on the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall. Our plan is to use these lights through the rest of the winter to help the Pedestrian Mall feel lively and vibrant during a particularly grey time. However\, this means untangling them from the wreaths and red ribbon\, then restringing them as needed. These lights are beautiful but fiddly to work with – I would love to get a lot of people out there so no one has to be in the cold too long. Here is what I need: \n\nThis Saturday\, Jan. 9\, 9 am to 11:30ish [Backup date for weather: Sunday\, Jan. 10 – 9 am to 11:30ish]\nFolks who are OK being out in the cold for 2 or 3 hours\, some of whom should be comfortable climbing ladders.\nWe also need ladders and potentially some wire cutters\n\nContact kylie@salemmainstreets.org.
