Join It Starts With Me! (ISWM) for its 12th annual turkey drive. Each year ISWM, friends, family, and strangers organize a turkey drive to help provide Thanksgiving meals to families and veterans in need on the North Shore as well as provide fresh produce and boxes of food to local shelters. We provide everything families need to cook a thanksgiving meal with their families, tin pan to the butter. We deliver these meals the Tuesday before Thanksgiving each year. Families are found from the school systems, Veterans agencies, family agencies and churches.
Volunteers are needed for several shifts. Volunteers must be able to drive, lift at least 35lbs, work under chaos, and move fast and work in all weather conditions since we will be working in the garage and driveway.
